Session is excited to announce the creation of a paid, part-time tech position at Lake Hills!
We are looking for a Technical Director to handle multiple needs of our church. This would include Audio, Video most Sundays, assisted by our volunteers. The ideal candidate would be able to keep our website and social media updated weekly, and be available for our future pastor for special video projects. This will be a total of 10 hours, most of which are flexible outside of Sunday morning services.
Purpose of the Job:
The Technical Director has the weekly responsibility for the technical operations of Lake Hills Presbyterian including sound, video,website maintenance, and social media.
Experience and Knowledge preferred:
Sound board or video streaming, Social media, Weebly or other website editor
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
Operates, maintains and safeguards the technical assets of the church, including supervising the use of sound, video, website, and social media communications.
Supervises and assists with set and stage setup and management, such as television and microphones.
Assists the tech committee chair in recruiting, training and assignment of volunteer or paid technical staff.
Assist in recording for special events and video shoots.
Attends technical rehearsals, in order to supervise and assist in the technical aspects of the services.
Makes recommendations to the church leadership regarding capital purchases of technical equipment.
Sets up, maintains, and operates microphones for any special projects
Participate in church wide events
Other duties as assigned
