What's Confirmation about?
Baptism is more than water. It's a promise.
- Confirmation is about "confirming" your baptism.
Baptism is more than water. It's a promise.
- It's the promises of faith you take.
- It's the promises your parents make.
- It's the promises the church makes to love you, guide you, teach you, and forgive you.
Baptism is a promise, a vow, a claim YOU make.
- Confirmation Class is learning about what it means to be a member of a faith community, the "Body of Christ."
- It's about learning to be part of a church, a unique, important, classy part -- you!
- And then, making that promise to be part of a church your whole life long.
Class Meetings
When the class is over, you'll be ready to
- We will meet at 9:30am on FOUR Sundays. (Not all in a row.)
- We will meet online, in THE LODGE, a Jitsi meeting room (kinda like Zoom, but much, much classier).
When the class is over, you'll be ready to
- Confirm your vows of Baptism if they were taken on your behalf by your parent(s) when you were little, OR
- Re-affirm your Baptism vows with your class, OR
- Be baptized, and take the vows of Baptism yourself.
